Commander Core not showing up in iCue - CORSAIR iCUE - Corsair Community. Page 1 of 2. I recently did a huge upgrade to my PC and with that, I required some new cooling equipment. Got myself the H100i Elite Capellix which came with a Commander Core, got everything up and running - but I cannot control the speeds or change the RGB on the fans.

Corsair Employees. Posted February 1, 2021. Your issue is most likely due to the internal USB headers on your motherboard are not providing enough power in order for the passthrough to work correctly. Utilizing a high quality internal USB hub that has supplemental power should resolve the problem.

I'm having some issues with my Commander Pro where some of the fan headers will die out/become unresponsive intermittently. RPM reports 0 and the fans don't spin. Power cycling the Commander Pro, resetting it in software, and reinstalling iCue + completely wiping and reinstalling Windows hasn't r
The CORSAIR iCUE COMMANDER CORE XT turns your case into a smart case, using CORSAIR iCUE software to conveniently control up to six case fans and dual lighting channels for multiple RGB components. Powers and controls up to six PWM fans for precise adjustment of fan speeds, including Zero RPM mode to keep the noise down at low loads.
The Commander Core can not do this, unfortunately, but the Commander Pro can. I believe SPs aren't PWM, I know on a commander pro you can switch each fan port to 4pin or 3pin, effectively pwm or DC. If you can do that on the core then you'll be fine. Running MLs and SPs on the same core for lighting will mean out of sync effects though, as they If I’m getting the usb connection from the aio and psu while they are plugged in to the commander pro, and they are functional and the commander pro isn’t, even though they both pass through and use the commander pros usb connection, it seems like the commander pro is malfunctioning, correct? Commander Pro provides power to fans and led one on the left is just for rgb. So what you can try is unplugging the “LED” and plug it in straight to mobo and see if the lights turn on, if not then you know whats wrong. I had a similar issue but other way around where my fans wouldnt power on. Ended up being a faulty commander pro, and i Make sure the latest mainboard / chipset drivers as well as windows updates are installed. Try connecting your CORSAIR device into other USB ports, both on the front and back. Try updating the firmware on a different system. If none of the above resolves the issue and the firmware update still fails afterwards, contact Customer Support and we
It came with the corsair commander core, which I didn't really want to use but the pump has a unique plug that can only go into the commander coreguess I gotta use it. Installed it and the iCue software. iCue would not see the CPU cooler, the lights and fans working, but cannot customize the lighting. Tried reinstalling a bunch but no luck.
