The base Africa Twin is much more adept and less daunting in the dirt; not with the same ease of use as Yamahaâs TĂ©nĂ©rĂ© 700, KTMâs 790 Adventure R or Triumphâs Tiger 900 Rally Pro (in that order), but enough to get some confidence it wonât be out of its, or your, depth.
An interesting comment that was made is that the Tracer 900 is the upright version of a naked bike, whereas the Triumph is the more road-oriented version of an adventure bike. Accordingly, the Tracer would be more at ease in fast bends, and the Triumph more suited to touring.
